Awesome video! I love Modern Marvels, but haven't seen this one before. The video/audio did sound a little sped up, though, especially the narrators voice.

Re: Modern Marvels Cigars
That's one segment of the "Modern Marvels: Tobacco" episode. The episode includes interviews with tobacco growers, historians, Carlos Fuente Jr, Sam Learned (a custom pipemaker), a former Surgeon General of the US, the Dr. Jeff Wigand and a few others I forget offhand.
I uploaded the entire episode in DVD format & quality about 15 months ago, commercials have been removed and chapter markers have been inserted at these points. Part 01: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EXQDMJ4S Part 02: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5BDVYCG7 Part 03: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VWYFF96V Part 04: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VYBVJDE1 Part 05: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=56D5D0PR Part 06: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V93GHHML Part 07: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6NALS91F Part 08: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GLLSGAV2 Part 09: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=995DS5M1 Part 10: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QI1DQFXC It's a self extracting rar so create a folder, download each part to that folder, run the .exe and it will create a .ISO file (at which point you can delete the rar parts) If you don't know how to burn an ISO to DVD, download ImgBurn here: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download and follow directions here: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=61 Last edited by T.G; 10-10-2009 at 11:30 AM. |
