What Was The Last Cigar You Couldn't Finish?
Mine was an El Mejor Emerald.
Beautiful looking cigar, but was like smoking nothing but straw laced with a bit of tobacco flavor. It wasn't mild, it was just outright bland. How about you guys? In the similar vein of Paragon's thread, what was the last cigar you lit up but couldn't stand to finish? |

Smoked a Party Corona until the girlfriend started yapping about how my Oakland A's suck. Buzz kill right there.

I have a Havana Nightclub in my humi that MedicCook gave me as a joke. I haven't dared light it, let alone finish it.

Camacho 1962. Twice. I love Camacho's, and this one has all the good construction, nice draw, but.. there's a nasty, bitter, green weedy taste to these. I'm leaving them sit for long time.
Maybe use them for lovely parting gifts.. |

Haven't had one lately, I am surprised about the emerald though. I usually smoke strong cigars and have had a few of the emeralds and even though they are not strong, I liked them.

Re: What Was The Last Cigar You Couldn't Finish?
A 98 punch corona, just .
I bought one box early this year and it turned out to be fantastic. So I jumped on two more boxes all the same box codes and I was excited. I started smoking out of the 2nd box this spring and it was horrible, it was tight and tasted like yard clippings. I thought I would try one out of the third box and got the same thing. These weren't kept at any kind of ideal humidity or temp. So over a month I tried a few things and ended up putting them all in a big cab and burying them. A couple nights ago I thought I would pull one out and try it. It wasn't as bad as the first one but still not good. I purged the smoke a lot and it helped slightly.

My first ever H Upmann Sir Winston (from 2003) a couple nights ago. I think the roller seriously rolled cement in the majority of the cigar... I couldn't even squeeze it. Really, it was bad... and tragic... I've heard such glowing reviews of the winnies and I was super excited for it.
Oh well... crappily rolled cigars happen. |

Alec Bradley SCR. Took three draws and tossed it. Tasted like bad Chinese food.
