Illusione CG:4
Not a bad stick.
My beverage: Coffee (very nutty), with a dash of cream and a stick of cinnamon in the cup. Pre-Light: Sweet tobacco and a sweet spiced cocoa. Smells great! Upon Lighting: Sweet spiced cocoa and mild tobacco undertones, mild spicy tingle on the throat and through the nose. Very thick and creamy smoke, coats the palate very well, excellent mouth-feel. 1st 3rd: Well, it hasn't changed, a bit spicier with the additions of sweet cinnamon and nutmeg, but still the base of cocoa and sweet tobacco. 2/3: Very sweet cocoa, stronger cinnamon, still the spiciness. 3/3: Went out! Relight - Heavier tobacco, heavier cocoa, spices still lingering. Damp earth at the end of the last third after the band, let it go out about 1" away from tip. Over-all: A very enjoyable smoke, a bit lighter than I thought it would be but tasty as heck nonetheless. I'll have to try one of these with a Mexican style spiced hot cocoa. |

Re: Illusione CG:4
Great review, I haven't had an Illusione; how would you rate the strength on this stick? Do they make a mild-medium?

Re: Illusione CG:4
For me I'd go with Medium-partial Full , Full because of the Nicotine buzz mostly.. I don't believe I know of a Mild-medium in the original line, but they have a couple other lines I havn't (and don't think i will) ventured into which I think may be medium.

Thanks for the review! I did enjoy the MK as well but I would have to say the Epernay or the MJ 12 is my favorite Illusione.

Nice review. I had one Illusione and loved it. I need to get a box of these or the 88s.
