Good reference information to have. Current as of June 6, 2009

It also breaks it down to show comparisons not only state to state but it also includes snuff, chew, and cigarettes.

I think Alaska is 75%, not Arizona... arizona looks like 20.25-218¢/10 cigars... if I'm reading this right.

I'm not sure on the % but it figures out to around a quarter per cigar here in AZ.

Arizona tobacco tax is $0.218 (21.8 cents) per cigar.

yeah all 10 of us out here haven't got around to raising taxes so those darn kids don't switch to just buying cheaper forms of tobacco

North Carolina is currently discussing a tax hike on tobacco and alcohol. It'll probably go through.
