Diameter is approx 7.5 inches. I am wondering if this is a blessing in disguise and maybe it's time to buy a new ashtray.

Antique or secondhand store may be your best bet.

I will fish through some sites after the Hawks game, maybe we can find something...that is too cool of a stand to go empty.

i will just use my half ashtray with silverfoil right now, i just spent lots of money and dont have any to spare atm. Not in a hurry, i've been known to use a plastic cup with a 1/4 inch of water in the car as an ashtray/spitcup

I have one very similar to the chrome one in the link. Some dipshit put his hookah charcoal in my ashtray a few years back and shattered it. I still haven't found an ashtray to replace it yet. Sad because it was a sweet ashtray.

take a look at this one for 9.95...

http://cgi.ebay.com/Heavy-Murano-lik...3A2%7C294%3A50

Might be a little small, says it is 6.25 inches in diameter.

During tough times, you will have better luck. Antique shop, flea market, consignment shop.
In some of these places there will be literally hundreds of flat glass ashtrays in a pile. Good luck,
but you should score soon. Salvation Army, Amvets, Goodwill....all the same sitcho
