A reason to never judge a book by its cover
Saw this earlier today and have already watched three more times. Just figured we all need a little reminder to not judge someone based on their outward appearance. The entire audience and the judges are laughing (inside or outwardly) until she starts. One of the more inspiring things I have seen in a while, well worth the time to watch it

I was moved to tears. That doesn't happen often.

Did you watch it? Pretty powerful stuff and definitely more than one tear was shed by the people in attendance.

I was moved by the acceptance and then accoldaes she received, I am guessing she never experienced a moment anything like that before in her life.

Absolutely, the end when she is beside herself just from having the opportunity to live out a dream she has had for so many years is amazing. She seemed genuinely stunned to find out that everyone thought she was infinitely better than she must have thought herself. Warms the heart

I had the same reaction. Call me Poopypants McGee but I wasn't blown away by her performance - but definitely by the moment that she experienced and the crowd going nuts for her. That's pretty darn cool to watch .

I'm with you Tom. Sarah is a beautiful soul as evidenced by her humility and authenticity at everyone's reaction. And I enjoyed her voice as well.

The expressions on the judges' faces said it all.

I am covered in goosebumps with the most happy smile I have had in a while.
In a wave of economic bad news, piracy on the high seas, and abducted children. This was a ray of sunshine in my day hell my month. Absolutely outstanding. |
