Eye sty
Hey all,
I have a wicked eye sty that grew on my eye lid this past Monday. Heat compresses didn't take it away so the doctor put me on some antibiotics. He said it will probably be around for another week. Just wondering what other peoples experiences with stys have been? I've never had one before this banana slug landed on my face. Hopefully it goes down soon; I hate looking like Rocky Balboa AFTER the fight.

Re: Eye sty
This may sound gross but I had a nasty eye sty also on my inside eye lid. My eye doctor is a cool cat and total bad ass. He told me to hold still and shut my eyes as tight as I can. He applied pressure and instatnly felt better. I will never forget that.

Re: Eye sty
Oh man... did he press on it to pop it?
My doc said that mine was "ripe" yet and I had to let it make a whitehead essentially.

Re: Eye sty
I suffered from them for many years, until early 20's.
Daughter now has that from me. I found a very expensive but great over the counter topical cream to put in your eye that really helps dry it out and speed up the process. Not sure is still around. It is called "Stye".

Yes. Luckly my doctor is super super strong and it did not hurt that bad.
