Default Light sources for PP3/9V batteries

I'm writing a story and in it I mention that the light at the end of the tunnel when you die is actually a flashlight that takes nine-volt batteries. Is there any light source in the real-world I could use instead? My dialog is below:

I asked her as the train rattled on through the darkness outside, asked her what was behind the light.

“A big hand holding a flashlight,” She said with a laugh, and her nose crinkled with her happiness, “A big blue flashlight that, curiously enough, takes nine-volts.”

“Really now,” I commented interestedly.

Does it have to use the 9V power source?

Meh, I mentioned sticking your tongue on it...

Again that smile. “Yeah, and every so often, the light goes out. That big hand unscrews the big blue flashlight’s head, removes the Duracell and licks the charge contacts. Ever get yourself off?”

I looked down and straightened the knot on my tie.

She giggled. “Try zapping your tongue like that sometime.”

The whole segment is iffy, but it's only a draft, so I don't let me OCD perfectionism get in the way.

Surefire M3

Though it takes 3, 3V batteries = 9V

Oh my God, that's beautiful!

Nice price too, I'm afraid. But, I'll see if I can work it in perhaps. Thanks a lot, the both of you.

Any other sources are welcome to chime in.

Huh, that's pretty handy...why don't we ever think of these things before someone else patents them?

Anyway, I'm probably going to rewrite that part - it just sounds weak somehow. Either that or the artist in me is also a harsh critic. I do appreciate your help though, thank you very much.
