ME!
Love mine...... http://www2.oregonscientific.com/sho...cid=96&pid=668 I can monitor up to three humis, or two and the smoking deck. Plus, you can set alarms to make sure you are awaken in the middle of the night if your smokes become uncomfortable. The wife loves that feature!

Re: Wireless Remote Digital Hygro
Thanks Tim.
It comes with one sensor I would guess. How much for another one do you know? |

Re: Wireless Remote Digital Hygro
Yep, one. And it can be found for near $30.
Additional sensors run around $15-20. Batteries last near a year in each, the sensors and the base unit. Addtnl. sensors... http://www2.oregonscientific.com/sho...scid=7&pid=699

Al, here's a unit that's on sale right now and comes with 2 sensors - you just rotate the wheel on top to switch between sensors. I've been using an Oregon Scientific unit with remote sensors for quite a while and have had no issues with it.
(Make sure when you shop for sensors that they include humidity - many are temp. only.) http://www2.oregonscientific.com/sho...id=122&pid=869 |

I have this one
http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/9023/index.php I have tested it and find it right on. Good price I also bought a second sensor--it has room for three. |

Re: Wireless Remote Digital Hygro
Yep. And you could add three more sensors for a total of five.

Re: Wireless Remote Digital Hygro
This is great! I am going pick up a new hygrometer today. It seems oregon scientific is getting good feedback. It may be what I get.

Re: Wireless Remote Digital Hygro
I've got the same OS from cigarmoney. It's a nice unit. Only issue I have is the sensors are way off (-11% on one and -8 on the others), but stay at that difference every salt test. Mark offered to take care of them, but I'm lazy so I didn't do it.

Re: Wireless Remote Digital Hygro
I have the oregon scientific as well, but I can't seem to get the base unit to pick up the sensor, is there anything specific I need to do? I have checked the remote sensor and it works perfectly.

Re: Wireless Remote Digital Hygro
Well, it's either set to the wrong channel or it's defective, and hopefully under warranty.

Re: Wireless Remote Digital Hygro
I have this one, and have no complaints.
http://www2.oregonscientific.com/sho...id=122&pid=877 Two sensors are Temp/Hum and one is Temp only.
