Re: Shuttle Launch
Very cool!
I was just watching it on the NASA website. They lost one engine, but they said that it was OK if they lost one. |

Re: Shuttle Launch
Cool shots Tony.
Wait to you see the night launches. I can vividly see it all the way down in my area. Amazing how it lights up the sky.

She was nice and clear from over in St Pete as well. It still blows me away that you can see that thing as clearly as you can from all the way across the state.
Great pics. |

Re: Shuttle Launch
Thats awesome. Every time I have been to Florida I always seem to miss a launch. I was able to see a rocket launch from New Smyrna Beach but that was a good 50 miles or so from the cape. One of these days I gotta go see one.

Re: Shuttle Launch
next time you can watch it from my area in Satellite Beach, isn't there a rocket launch coming up next?

However, Discovery's engines are performing well as the orbiter and its crew of seven continue on a path toward the International Space Station. Press to MECO Sun, 15 Mar 2009 07:50:17 PM EDT At this point, Discovery can make it into orbit even if one engine failed. However, all three space shuttle main engines are performing as expected. |
