Default Circulating RH in Humidor

What fan is everyone out there using to circulate the humidity in a cabinet humidor? Also where would be the best place to place it in a humidor with say a three shelf system like mine...

Note: The fan at the bottom is no longer there!

Someone may want to correct me if I'm wrong, but I would go with an Oust type fan, and place it on the middle shelf. I find in my cabinet humidor that the humidity is naturally higher on the bottom.

I have a double computer fan with a L/M/H switch in my vinos. That way if it needs more air I just turn them up from L to M. The Oust fans don't move much air.

Andrew, did you buy something already setup, or did you have to build it yourself?

My - Oust fans suck. They constantly require batteries and it doesn't move air worth a jack.

CPU fans are a set it and forget it.

$70 is a lot to spend on a fan though, isnt it?

I don't have a fan in mine anymore for the reasons Hal stated. Shilala says the fan that is in the vino moves enough air, and if it is good enough for him it's good enough for me.

I took an old CPU fan I had around, drilled some holes in an old cigar box, mounted the fan, and wired it up to an old AC adapter I had. I ran the wire out through the drain hole of my wineador and plugged it into a timer that is set to run for 30 minutes every 4 hours. I have it sitting at the very bottom of my humidor and it seems to help with having the humidity constant throughout.

It's similar to a fan setup that someone had posted on the old site, but not nearly as professional.

Yep, that's the one I was talking about. Mine was based off of that, but like I said, no where near as nice looking. Nice work on that Shilala.

The box setup you have here is nice because it can be moved inside the humi to different locations and you dont have to worry about knocking it over.
