Acoustic Guitar Humidity
Didn't know where to post this exactly...
Anyone with good experience in maintaining humidity levels on accoustic guitars? I have 98 Martin D28 that I rarely play and want to know what devices people have had success with in measuring and maintaining humidity. I have been using one of those sponge devices for years and wonder if there is anything better. Martin recommends between 45 -55%. I might start to digitally monitor humidity also. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Acoustic Guitar Humidity
I use this
It works great, you just have to stay on top of keeping the moisture in the sponge.

I don't have any nice enough guitars anyone to need humidification but I when used the Planet Waves one that Buena Fortuna posted above and also used the Damp-It. They worked equally well. |
