Re: Cubans on CBid?
Pinars are terrible. The glass top boxes are a nice touch however. Very fitting

Re: Cubans on CBid?
It's the biggest load of bullshit.
They sprinkled some pre-embargo dust on them. |

Re: Cubans on CBid?
Yeah, these are definitely not Cuban––every now and then you'll find sticks that are claimed to be filled with pre-embargo leaf, but chances are they're either only partially filled with the stuff and then blended with some toilet paper quality tobacco, or the more likely scenario––it's nothing more than a sham. In any case, these are not Cubans, and probably (since I've never had one of these and never will) don't even come close to the most average Cuban you can find. Real pre-embargo sticks, by the way, fetch way more than ~$4.00/stick....

Why all the skepticism guys?
It says right there in the description that the tobacco's authenticity has been confirmed by the "Brotherhood of Independent Appraisers" |

And I have some beach-front property to sell ya.......... in Arizona........
Besides, the last Prez made it illegal for any American to buy or sell Cuban contraband. Technically, it no longer matters if it was here already or not.

A spinkle of pre-embargo Cuban tobacco, and a boatload of crap.

Re: Cubans on CBid?
It's amazing that this so called pre-embargo Cuban Tobacco went unnoticed during the boom years. I smoked one a few years ago that was gifted to me. I can remember the smoke because it was unforgettably forgettable. Seriously though it was like smoking warm air and nothing else. I think if I rolled up some grass clippings inside a leaf off the Oak tree out back it would have a more enjoyable flavor. Yes, it was that bad.
