Happy 86th Mr. Hockey.
Gordie "Elbows" Howe, one of my earliest hockey heroes, turns 86 today....Somebody give that man a cigar.

Love Gordie. Wish I was older so I could have seen him play in person.

I saw Howe play in person many times, but I still wish I was younger!

Re: Happy 86th Mr. Hockey.
Happy Birthday Mr. Howe… Johnny Pesky might have the pole at Fenway, but Howe has the "Gordie Howe Hat Trick", a staple of one of my all time favorite players, Cam Neely. Interestingly enough, Howe was not the first one to accomplish this, a goal, an assist and a fight all in the same game, he also only accomplished it twice in his career.
