Whattya Makin' For Christmas Dinner?
I just finished cooking up many pounds of sausage (hot and sweet), grating pounds of cheese (Parmesan and Romano), & cooking lots of spinach in advance preparation of the Christmas lasagna we are making for Christmas. We figured we'd go with the "red, green & white" motif this year.
With 6 guests, we figured we'd make dinner for 12 or more. Not bad for a heathen, huh? So....whattya making for Christmas dinner?

Ham and Boston Baked Beans. I just stuck a quiche in the oven for the vegetarian sister. There will be lots of frosty Buds for dessert.
Merry Chirstmas!

My son would probably disown me if I didn't roast up a great big bird with all the fixins. Turkey dinner has been his favourite meal since he was 3 (he is 9 now) for him its a toss up between what is better presents or the feast.

Well, Christmas dinner is the province of the In-laws. But our family tradition for Christmas Eve is Chinese food. Last night I made, Hot & Sour Soup, Chicken "rangoons" (mine are not all cream cheese!), Scallion pancakes and General Gau's chicken.
My 13 year old daughter made chocolate fondue for dessert.

Re: Whattya Makin' For Christmas Dinner?
We have potluck dinner parties 4 or 5 times a year. Tonight I’m making roast turkey, fresh baked Italian bread, mashed potatoes with roast garlic and green peppercorn gravy.

I am in CO with Family for Christmas so that means I am in charge of most of the cooking, tonight we are having a rosemary crusted prime rib, some decadent (read very fatty and delicious) mashed potatoes, asparagus, a cheese platter for an appetizer, and plenty of wine
