Re: What’s a good birthday cigar
Looking over the other thread, it seems that for non-infused cigars, the stronger stuff was more to your liking, so I would say maybe look for:
Padron 1964 Anniversary with the maduro wrapper, Fuente Anejo, Fuente Hemingway Liga Privada T52. For a bit less coin, you can go with a Padron x000 series in maduro (2000, 3000, etc... number indicates the shape/size of the cigar), Fuente 8-5-8 Casa Fernandez Aganorsa Leaf Tatuaje brown band Partagas Black. |

But a Padron 3000 Maduro, so good. And Tatuaje Brown labels are a personal favorite anytime, anywhere even in front of No Smoking signs.

Re: What’s a good birthday cigar
One thing about Padron: If you like the way they taste now, you won't be disappointed over the years. VERY consistent in their blending, and rolling too, for that matter. Keep in mind that's not just my opinion, either---we have a very active cigar smoking community here in Cincytucky, and that's one of the things a bunch of us agree on.

Re: What’s a good birthday cigar
Oh, I would add in Rocky Patel (RP) Decade, RP Old World Reserve maduro, Alec Bradley (AB) Tempus, AB Black Market, actually most Alec Bradley cigars.

Re: What’s a good birthday cigar
Yeah if you are looking to splurge, and considering you seem to like the heavier profile stuff, Padron is probably a safe bet...
If you think you might like to try something a little less heavy, check out an Ashton Symmetry And I like that someone suggested Casa Fernandez Aganorsa Leaf, that’s a tasty smoke...but also I’d like to add Casa Fernandez Miami Reserva, that one has lots of flavor too, and has medio tiempo Leaf, fwiw..and of course I would be remiss if I didn’t suggest my personal favorite, Casa Fernandez Guardian of the Farm, that one is a must try if you like a medium to medium full Nicaraguan profile... Happy early birthday btw! |
