Best prices for a cell phone?
Topic says it all. I use an original enV and I love it, but it's seen better days (I've had this thing for nearly 3 years, it's a miracle and testament to LG that it lasted that long!). The battery doesn't last long anymore, the shell is dinged and cracked, and the keypad is starting to malfunction.
I'm interested in upgrading my phone to the LG enV3, but I'm not really able to shell out $300 for one right now. I'm hoping I can nab a blue one somewhere for a better price. I refuse to enter service contracts for cell phones, so getting one cheaply that way is pretty much a dead-end. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

$180 with a contract extension. Not cheap, but better then $300. I've used this retailer before and would recommend them.

I'm not willing to let go of my plan for a contract. The plan I have is nearly 10 years old and Verizon certainly doesn't offer anything that good anymore, and won't let me enter a contract with my plan (they've actually been trying to push me off my plan for several years, but I've managed to hold on to it). Right now I get 1400 anytime minutes, unlimited free texts, and free night/weekend hours are 5pm to 5am, weekends starting 5pm Friday and lasting until 5am Monday. All for $60 a month paid month to month. The overage fees are killer, and so are data fees, but the amount of minutes/texts for to price is utterly unbeatable, and I use every bit of that plan. So contracts are out of the question, I do far better simply buying the phone outright in that case. Appreciate the reply though

Checkout ebay they always seem to have decent prices for phones. I would also look on craigslist. You would be surprised you can find on Craigslist.

Re: Best prices for a cell phone?
Is that with a contract or extension? Or a super good promotional deal? I work with someone who's been trying to find an iPhone for a good price for a few weeks.

Re: Best prices for a cell phone?
That's with a brand new contract with AT&T unfortunately. Because of the release of the 3G-S they are cutting prices on the regular 3G's. Not promo, that will be the new base price for the 8gig
