Default Cigars for my first child

I need your help all. My wife and I are expecting our first child late July and I want to get a box of cigars where I will only smoke one on my child's birthday.

Or at least that is the plan now..

But, I'm looking for that right box to get. They can be Cuban or Non, but the box must be at least 20 cigars and my limit is $400 for the box.

I would appreciate what you would get to help me out.

i'd have to suggest something cuban and i'd suggest looking for something elite, known for the highest quality tobacco. 20 years is a long time. something from cohiba perhaps?

I'd suggest a box of Padron 2000 Maduros and the rest in the diaper fund

Lol my twin boys are due in April and I bought Fuente "it's a boy" Brevas. Decent cigars and cheap enough to hand out. Two are going deep in the humi labeled with their names, birthday, weight, etc and I plan on smoking them with the boys on their 18th birthday.
Buy a decent box and save the rest for diapers! If you are going to buy a premium box, my advice is to buy what you know you like.

I've never had a Sir Winston, so I really can't say for sure, but I have never been disappointed by an Upmann. Also the Cohiba Maduro 5 line is pretty fantastic.... Congrats on the new baby on the way!

Travis, how about something in a tube? Boli RC tubo, Mag 50 Tubo, etc. With the RC tubos and $400, you can be smoking till the little tyke is 40

I was able to track down Boli RC June 06 box codes for my sons birth.

2010 Limited Edition Series

Montecristo Grand Edmundo Robusto Extra: June/July

Partagas Serie D Especial Robusto Extra: June/July

Trinidad Short Robusto T Petit Robusto: June/July

These are the limited editions slated for release this year and might be a good choice if you can wait until they are released. just a thought.

I went the EL route when my son was born in July '06...

In my case, it was Partagas SD #3 EL ( June '06 )...

I broke down though... I smoke them on Father's Day and his Birthday... too bad they are only ~6 weeks apart....

Congrats on the impending arrival!!!
