Default Can we ditch the term 'boutique cigars'?

It just sounds too metro or wussified. Unless it was to buy something sexy for a woman, I've never set foot inside a dang boutique. How about 'small batch' or 'craft' instead? Those work well for beer and bourbon.

I guess I've never heard that term before. Not saying much I'm out of touch on a lot of subjects!

I really don't have an issue with the term "boutique".

How do we communicate this decision to the cigar community, which has been using the term for decades?

Strippergrams would probably get the message across most effectively.

Immediately after 9/11, I proposed on another cigar board that we find a substitution for the oft-used term "bomb" to refer to gifting others with cigars. You can imagine with what disinterest my proposal was received.

I consider language to be a living entity which evolves naturally. As with morality, it seems bootless to "legislate" it.

No offense intended, just , and worth every penny.

Hmm... always did think the term was saved for those cigars that ya smoke with a pinkie in the air... I vote for the "small-batch / Craft" monicker...
