Re: God of Fire Question...
Sad to say I have never had the pleasure of smoking one .
Are they really worth the $$ they demand? Chris.....

Re: God of Fire Question...
Nope... and I am a Fuente whore...the GOF is just one cigar that I don't care for at all and especially not at that price point. I think I may have one more single left of them...

Carlos. Neither one is worth the $$ though, IMHO.

Re: God of Fire Question...
I liked the Carlos a bit better, seemed to have a smoother flavor than the Carlito, though they were both excellent cigars (I have only had the 2006 blend). Are they worth the money? These are in my top 5 NCs that I have tried, so yes, but I only enjoy one every once in a great while (usually for a special ocassion, but sometimes not). When looking for something smooth, strong, balanced and packed with flavor, this hits the spot for me.

Re: God of Fire Question...
We were just discussing these in chat. In my opinion, the Carlos is a better smoke. However, I think the Fuente people are really milking the price on these. A year ago, I couldn't find these cigars anywhere. Nowadays, I can order them on CI. The downside is that the price has stayed the same. I can't afford to be a GOF smoker, but I do enjoy them.

Re: God of Fire Question...
Ok... So the general consensus is the Carlos. I'm a huge Fuente whore and I haven't yet tried a GOF. I couldn't resist and had to do it. Just ordered a box of 4 tubos.

I prefer the Carlito blend. I have smoked both. I like the Cameroon wrapper flavor better than the wrapper from Ecuador that is in the Don Carlos.
