Default Favorite cigar vs trying something new...

I was thinking about this at work today and was curious to hear the responses. Here's the question...

If you had to make a choice between smoking only your favorite cigar and nothing else for the rest of your life or never again smoking your favorite cigar and getting to try every cigar in the world once which would you choose?

If you decide to take your favorite cigar what would it be?

Tough question, I'd think I have to go with trying new cigars for life though.

New cigars. My favorite has changed plenty of times so I'm sure it could again. I couldn't smoke the same cigar every day no matter how great it was.

I voted for my favorite cigar for life, based solely on the comment that I would have to smoke every cigar once for the other option. From what I can tell the number of dog turds far exceed the good cigars on the market. Now, if I could pick the cigars to try and different years counted as different cigars, then I would go with that option. I have no desire to try every cigar on the market, but I do have a long list of must tries.

To be honest, Joe, I'm just glad I don't have to make such a choice. I mean, would one want to sleep with a person one loves, or a different person every night?

It's the "never" and "once" parts that would be a problem.

yeah, I'm a creature of habit, but I think trying new cigars is what keeps my old favorites from getting boring. and as much as I like Partagas, I'm sure I would start to hate them if they were the only cigar I could smoke.
