Question Nording "Boar"

Picked up a 2000 year of the Boar by Erik Nording (handmade by him). http://smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/No...duct_id=108560

Never smoked or owned a Nording before, one in the link is not the one I purchased, but same style. I need some help/advice on breaking it in.

You may hear all kinds of interesting theories; quarter bowl, half bowl, only on a full moon... In my day we smoked them. Sure if it gets a bit warm, set it down, but just gentle smoking is the best way I know to break in a pipe.

It's nice; I like stems with just a little bend like this one.
