Question Drunk Humidor

I got a we bit of a problem I have a 150 count humidor with a glass top.
well me and the wife was playing around and I spilled pumpkin Ale all over the top. and It did leak inside not a lot but some so I pulled all the sticks out bagged them and in the cooler they go. I know the wood around the glass inside is pretty wet. I told her it's OK dear this gives me the reason for the 500 count

so how do we fix this let it dry and hope for the best? can't really wash it where it is wet and I don't want pumpkin infused cigars that's for sure.
thanks for your input

I suggest you let it dry out and start over. Once it is dry if it still smells of pumpkin it might be time for a new one. First thing is first, finish enjoying the rest of your birthday!!

I would take the glass out, clean it with Rubbing Alcohol, let it dry and reseal the glass with silicon. Just an idea.

I think it was Scott (shilala) who had an entire photo series of taking a small humidor apart and re-sealing the glass, which might be of some help here, if I can find the thread...

---

Well, that blows goats... I found the thread, but all the photos are gone.

Maybe Scott can dig up the photos and find the ones on how he removed the glued in strips without breaking the glass.

Ok, let's get this straight.

It's your birthday.
You and the wife are drinking and playing graba$$ around your humidor.
You type about it on a cigar forum instead of escalating the horseplay?
