Default What Are You Reading?

Last year I got back into reading and wondering what everyone is reading? I finished The Histories by Herodotus (Landmark Edition) in May and last Friday I started Dune by Frank Herbert and I’m going in totally blind first read and never saw the movies, been wanting to read it for forever movies had no involvement in me starting the book! I’m also “reading” Vinland Saga by Makoto Yukimura on the side!

Good stuff! I am completely up to date. It was fun to watch the characters that were in the beginning and since then. I loved Wulfgar in the beginning stuff.

Oh yeah, presently I am reading a couple things...Storm Peach by John Flanagan
And theolgoically - Without The Shedding of Blood: Non Sine Sanguine, article by Rev. Dr. David Scaer

Peace of the Lord be with you.

Finished Dune and Vinland Saga, both incredible 10/10! I started to read The Catcher in the Rye today, for some reason it was never part of my curriculum in high school, have a feeling I would’ve liked this book a lot more 20 years ago when I was high school, but let’s see only 2 chapters in. Also immediately ordered the second deluxe edition of Vinland Saga!

I'm doing a re-read of the A Song of Ice and Fire series. I'm about 1/3 of the way through A Storm of Swords.

Read The Catcher in the Rye, never part of my curriculum in High School, this book really hit me hard, probably harder than it would have if I were 16, but wished I read it then regardless. Very complex and layered. Took a couple days off to process the book, now I’m onto some old school sword and sorcery fantasy with Bloodstone by Karl Edgar Wagner!
