Got these Perdomo Grand Cru Robustos today from FSS:
And they snuck a little something extra in my order for free: La Gloria Cubana Artesanos Retro Especiale (I think it's the Habanero). Looking forward to getting all of these in my tupperdor!!

Re: Cigar Monster
Did you walk in? I don't ever remember getting anything for free that wasn't part of some promotion in all my years purchasing online from Famous.

They told me you can get better deals and free stuff in-store unlike on-line. They are a great company so I am not surprised to see the little extra in there!

Re: Cigar Monster
It came with a leaflet introducing the new Artersanos line and what it was all about. I threw that away on accident, so I didn't get a pic. But the stick was in there, and I know I didn't pay for it. SO, it's a freebie.

Re: Cigar Monster
Habanero?? Are they trying to compete with the Punisher?? Just kidding, I hope you meant Habano.

Re: Cigar Monster
Had that new La Gloria this weekend. Decent smoke for the beginning, not so great afterwards. Definitely not worth the MSRP which I think is $7-8.

Re: Cigar Monster
They are fantastic smokes. I'm a Graycliff fan so I also enjoy the Blue and the Crystals, just had the limited release Platinum two nights ago and that was also great. Not sure what was up with the Professional's Brian had but they are usually not bitter smokes at all. I let all my stuff rest for a few months and it seems to really help the overall smoking experience vs r.o.t.t..

Perhaps that's why they weren't as delicious as the reds. Although, I haven't really let the reds sit either and all of them have been great. Perhaps I got a bad batch. I will revisit the professionals in the future. On another note, I had a CI Legends Graycliff last night, which I didn't really care for. It had a lot of grassy flavor. I was really hopeful I'd like it. |

Re: Cigar Monster
I like them a lot. On the mild side, but smooth and creamy. Ive had the blues too and they were too bitter. They aren't worth paying full price, but good when you can find them on sale.

Re: Cigar Monster
I use the Monster occasionally, and would do so more
often(maybe), if they had better descriptions of their samplers. Today there were several Famous 'Mild' Samplers, several Famous 'Medium' samplers and several Famous 'Full' samplers. wtf? During the Mashup(11am and 11pm) it's impossible to quickly tell one sampler from the other. But the deals are there, if you keep you eyes open. I once got a box(36) of Oliva V lanceros for $100, delivered. Sweeet! Chemyst
