What birthday cigar should I smoke?
I'd like to pick up a high end birthday cigar for the my 30th this year (Dec 22). What would you suggest. Probably the most expensive cigar I've smoked has been a Padron Serie 1926 and it was amazing, so I'm thinking along those lines. $20, $30, more?? What would you smoke?

Heck yes, go for the Padron Anniv. Also a good smoke is the Partagas 160 line.

I couldn't agree with Padron Anniversary more! I smoked a 1964 Exclusivo for my birthday last month, which was preceded by an Oliva 'V' Figurado. Both were excellent.

I've always wanted to smoke a Padron 80th so that would be my suggestion, and it seems to fit into your price range.

Wait just one birthday cigar
Some great suggestions thus far. I would say two things. 1. Pick a nice $30 stick out of what has been suggested, padron 80th, party 160, padron anniversary. 2. Smoke your favorite stick. Doesn't really matter what it is, just always comforting knowing you'll definitely have that one GREAT stick. |

Re: What birthday cigar should I smoke?
I agree but instead of just 1 EXPENSIVE Stick you can do a couple of your favorite sticks. like i did. For my birthday i had a Taboo Twist ( love the barber poles) a Padron 2000 Maddy. A Nub Habanno, Oliva G, and an Egg ( will never do that again.) Its all on what you want brother.
Knip.

Re: What birthday cigar should I smoke?
Never had a cigar that expensive, $15 is the most I've spent, but you can't go wrong with one of your old favorites
I had my last Tatuaje black tubo from the 3 I bought at the beginning of October, and most here know about the whole 30 seconds of the Opus X I started for my birthday Just go with what you want to smoke, I am the kind of person who would rather have 3 $10 cigars instead of 1 $30, so of course I've never had the padron 80th, but if you want it, go for it |

Re: What birthday cigar should I smoke?
I enjoyed a Padron 80th on my birthday! Smoke what you wanna smoke, regardless of price. I've had a lot of 5 buck smokes that taste as good or better than 20 buck smokes.

Re: What birthday cigar should I smoke?
Any of the Padron Anniversary or Family Reserve sticks. The 45th family reserve is a great cigar, the 46's are out now, but haven't had the chance to try one yet.

Re: What birthday cigar should I smoke?
Thanks for the great suggestion guys! I think I'll go for a Padron Anni. One other thing I want on my birthday is a glass of Macallan 30 year. I'll have to hunt that down around town...just wish I could enjoy both at the same time! (can't smoke at any restaurant/bar in WA state)

Re: What birthday cigar should I smoke?
I will also throw in a vote for a Padron Anny. Pick which ever one you think you will like best as they are all great. I am a bit from the norm and actually prefer the 64 over the 26.
