Nice Little Private Key...
just off Marathon. Not really too bad at only $5000/wk!
I could see it from my friend's (a MOST Generous Friend!) AWESOME place on Marathon that he allowed my family to use while I was in the hospital and where I was able to rest Sunday night after being released from the hospital before riding 500 miles home on Monday. I REALLY regret that I just was not feeling up to sitting out on one of the magnificent porches and enjoy a cigar!!!

Re: Nice Little Private Key...
I believe that I actually took a boat ride past that place last time I was down in Marathon. Very nice pictures, looks like a nice place to have a smoke or 30.

I'd rather live in a cabin tucked up in the mountains.

Re: Nice Little Private Key...
That is a sweet place. I have snorkeled with my kids a bunch of time all around there. Just in around the corner toward the Seven Mile Bridge is one of my favorite tarpon flats.

Re: Nice Little Private Key...
can you imagine living there and being retired. Fully stocked with aged cc's, and all the women and scotch in the world

Re: Nice Little Private Key...
LOL.... I don't mind if anyone knows... 'cause if you don't know the right stage of the tide to be there you would think there wasn't a poon within 100 miles.

But I still maintain that there are NO Tarpon or Permit left in the Keys

Didn't mean to bash it earlier, is that a man made island.

Re: Nice Little Private Key...
No worries! I still have a couple of neat places tucked away up in the mountains that I love! Tin roof, wrap around porch, Native Brookies in the creeks, ah yes!
I'm not sure if it is completely man made or if it was just enhanced.

Glad you guys like it, I would love to have y'all down, but just couldn't think of a polite way to ask!
So very, very cool. If I imagine myself being there all day, I think it might take the chill off. <gets all dreamy eyed.. imagines the sound of the surf, gulls, warm breezes> |
