Vinotemp 12 bottle
Purchased one at a yard sale for 20 bucks. I have two questions that I need some help with:
1. The temperature gauge only goes to 66F. Is this OK for cigar storage? 2. I also plan on lining it with Spanish cedar and drawers. Can someone provide a helpful link? I can't narrow down my search to see someone elses project. |

Re: Vinotemp 12 bottle
66F is fine for cigars. Keep it under 70F and you are good. I wouldn't trust the thermometer on unit however. I would purchase a good re-calibratable hygrometer that reads temperature as well as humidity.
As for cedar, drawers can be had from either ChasDen or WaxingMoon. Lining isn't necessary, and I personally think it looks better without. |

Yeah, those are not links. They need a domain on the internet before you can post them. |

WaxingMoon will build you some. I believe Chasden builds them reasonably as well.
This was the third thread below at the time of this post. You may want to browse this forum a little further.
