Default My Book

I know there are a few guys on here that are interested in the Civil War so I thought I would post a link to my book on Amazon. By no means am I expecting anyone to purchase it but if you think it looks interesting and purchase it, I would be glad to sign it if you send it to me.

My copy will be here next Wednesday. And I'll take you up on the offer to sign it - thanks! It does look to be interesting.

A friend of my wife who I also know has authored several Civil War books of which I have collected (signed also).

Thanks,

Ron

My copy shipped today. Holiday will slow it down, though.

Will you be releasing it to kindle/nook format? The only way I read books anymore is with my iPad. It is just easier to add notes/highlight.

Not sure. I can get a hold of my publisher and ask them.

Thank you. I have a degree in history and political science. Since finding a job in the area of study I'm interested in (civil war) is pretty much impossible I did the next best thing I could think of to stay relevant in the field.

By any chance would you know a guy named Jim Flook? I worked with him at Gettysburg and he did a bunch of history graduate work at UF. Thats awesome your getting your PHD. I thought about it but hated the thought of being in school for so many years. Southern history is awesome, so many things to study.

I don't know him by name but I probably ran into him a time or two when I was at UF as an undergrad. I was president of UF's Phi Alpha Theta chapter (History Honors Society) in the 2009 academic year and we hosted some events that grad students attended

As for going for my PhD, I try to take it one day at a time and not think about how long I have left in school
