Humi starting to stablilize
So I broke down and bought the Montegue 1600 for my office. It's way bigger than you might think for a table end. Impressive for the price. I seasoned for a few weeks and added a Cigar Oasis Plus with 6 bags of beads, but she struggled to maintain the RH. Upgraded to the (gigantic) Oasis Magna.
The new humi is humming quite annoyingly, but the RH is now bang on in spite of the large payload on board. Getting happy..... |

Re: Humi starting to stablilize
Looks great, I got one similar a few months ago, I found that sealing all of the corners and seems with some food grade, odorless silicone really helped maintain the RH, you can pick it up at lowes, home depot or even pet supply stores that have large fish tanks, it should help hold the RH and your Oasis won't run as often / be a bit quieter.
To quote the Frank's commercial, "I put that **** on everything!". Again, looks great! |
