Default Lighting Accident

Only I could have something like this happen to me: The other day I was lighting a PG with a cedar spill. I felt my finger tip starting to hurt and I thought "how did the flame get so high on the spill?" after moving my hand the pain became worse and then I saw the that the wind had blown a piece of the spill onto my finger tip and it was still burning. I tried blowing it off (one had had the cigar, the other had the spill). That didnt work because the burning wood was stuck to my finger! I finally jumped up and slapped it away and smoked my cigar with a blistered finger. Is there cigar insurance for massholes like myself?!

Come close several times by not paying attention when lighting with a torch. Missed the cigar and singed my finger, but with a torch you know real fast when you miss the cigar.

I sort of did the same. I was outside in the wind and I cupped the cigar and lit it with a torch. Instant blister!

So what were you drinking? Is there some kind of valid excuse available? It must be someone's else's fault?

I was drinking water. But I do blame the wind for blowing the spill. Besides who ever heard of flaming wood going airborn then sticking to skin!?

See you should go get yourself a $2000 Davidoff/Dupont/Xicar Lighter so that this wont happen again.

I've burnt my finger trying to light nubs with a torch.

Worst I had though wasn't a lighting incident, was walking the dogs and had the cigar and leashes in the same hand. Dogs decide to take off and the leash shoved the cigar into my palm leaving a nice blister.
