Default College Football 2014

I got the Utes game last Thursday and Utah State game on Subday, but because we were at a friends cabin & on the boat last Saturday, this is my first CFB Saturday of the year.

Surprised how much I'm enjoying this Mcneese State vs Nebraska game.

Some really good games on tap later. In the big ones, taking Oregon over MSU, USC over Stanford & Michigan over ND(some of that is my dislike for ND).

Also taking the Utes over Fresno and Texas over BYU(that is just a pure hate pick).

Great time of year!

Oh and Washington State chit the bed to start the season.... I hope their play is just like this in 3 weeks! Other than that, wish them better luck, a good friends nephew is the backup QB for them, got his first snap in CFB as a RS Frosh last night.

Took a pair of late picks, but my Heels managed to squeak by SDSU at home. But at least they didn't pull a Buckeye buckup, what with the Hokie poking they hosted.

What also struck me is that even some of the Ws were meh. Nebraska, Rutgers, Maryland, Iowa, Illinois . . . OK, a win's a win, but look who they were playing!

Oh, ADD... Utah started as a 6 point dog and now 4.5. I think they win outright, was actually blown away by the line.

Vegas is historically smarter than me...but I'm taking this to the bank.

Wonky weekend in CFB! Great bounce back win by the Utes, beating UCLA on the road.

And I am a Rutgers fan/alumni who was at the game Saturday night!

RU should have won more handily, but I'm happy they got their first Big Ten win.
