I am one of the bigger old school boxing fans left in this area.

I have Cotto tonight, Alfredo.

Styles make a fight, and this should be a good one. Cotto is aggressive, especially early, and Canelo seems to have his best fights when the other fighter presses the action. I'm guessing that Canelo can survive the onslaught and win a unanimous decision.

BTW, Rousey could totally beat both these guys asses, amirite?

She's turning into a good actress, she is. Cleans up nice, too.
She was good in the Expendables 3, not so good in Entourage.

Ya know, she couldn't talk till she was 6. She was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and it wrecked her vocal cords.
That's an odd one, first time I ever heard of it.

She was also in the latest Fast & Furious movie, and I heard tale she's going to play Dalton in a remake of Roadhouse.

Interesting, cause Holly Holm wrecked her vocal cords about a week ago, too.

Funny little story, the legendary Boston boxing promoter Sam Silverman lived in my neighborhood.

Sam would come down to my shop and say Johnny I'm going out of town for a week can you come over the house and fix my car so it won't run...I got to keep the wife home.

He never paid me any cash always in tickets, the fun part was I did get to meet some of the old time greats

I agree exactly about Freddie and Miguel.

I like Canelo too, I just think experience and power may trump youth and speed this time around.

I must say, whoever wins the fight tonight is guaranteed to get a beating thrown on them by Golovkin.

Sounds like Canelo won handily, while I am a little suprised it was apparently so easy, I give the red one his props.

Best thing I read was that Cotto would have given away his belt as he was not going to fight Golovkin, whereas I hear Canelo is game. Shapes up to be the best title fight in a while. My money will be on Triple G.

I used to be a big boxing fan, even subscribed to The Ring. But, over the last few decades it has gotten really hard to follow the sport, and I have ceased doing so for the most part. I never was able to get interested in the UF stuff.
