Road trip: Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City
The wife and I are planning a road trip in July to the above mentioned cities and are looking for sights to see, dining, and neighborhoods to visit. As of now the only plans we have set are to stay at the Trump International in Toronto, visit the CN tower and check out the LCDH's in Toronto and Montreal.
Would love to hear input from others who have visited or live in thees areas. Thanks for any input! |

I've been combing the travel sites and I do remember seeing the Basilica. The architecture in Monteral and Quebec City looks stunning from the pictures I have seen. Very excited about the trip. Thanks for the input!

Re: Road trip: Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City
Quebec city is amazing. If you have the means, stay in the old city at Ch. Frontenac:
http://www.fairmont.com/frontenac-quebec/. While there head out to the Monmorency falls. In Montreal, you should drop by Casa Habanos, which is close to McGill and the Art Museum. Expensive, but very nice cigar bar run by Habanos SA. Montreal has incredible restaurants, but no trip there wold be complete without lunch at Reuben's on Rue St Catherine. (Incredible Montreal Smoked beef sandwiches). Superb boutique hotel at the old port is Le StJames. For a special occasion the restaurant there, the ("XO") is comparable to Per Se in New York. (including in price!) The Big Smoke is a typical modern city, but take in a Blue Jays game at the Rogers Arena - incredible venue. There is also a cigar factory that rolls Cuban tobacco on site - Frank Correnti - you can buy them direct form the torcedor! Too bad the hockey season will over by then, because a visit to Bell Centre would have been something.... Enjoy our beautiful country. I Wil be shocked if you don't like Quebec City. Regards Neil |

Thanks Neil! The Fairmount looks great, I first saw Quebec City on a travel show and I believe they did a segment on The Fairmount I knew when I saw the city it would be on my list of places to visit. I'll check out your other suggestions on the internet. Thanks for the input!
