It's A Girl
For you guys who are married - If you had the chance to smoke the very cigars that your Father-in-law passed out the day your wife was born would you???
My Mother-in-law found these Saturday!!! Here is the catch! My wife was born in 1980 so these have nothing to do with a pre-embargoed tobacco and they have not been properly cared for in 29 years!!!

Re: Cigars Passed Out on My Wife's Birthday
I'd smoke one just to say I did, Darrell, even if it was dried out and flavorless. How many of us would ever have that opportunity?

Ditto what Tom said. Who can say they smoked a cigar like that?

Very cool to be able to do that... hope they don't just go up in a quick puff of smoke when you light it.

Aren't White Owls dry cured ? Meaning they don't need humidification . I've never smoked one so I don't really know . Just that I can't ever remember seeing them kept in a humidor . Nice find . I still have some from both of my daughters birth's . Fuente Brevas to be exact .

Very cool to come across regardless of what they may taste like.

Absolutely! But I'd wait to smoke it until your own baby is born--maybe with your FIL--and then put the rest away until the next generation comes along!

Re: It's A Girl
Actuaclly I think I'd place them in some sort of clear plastic box for display and save them. More then likely they won't have more flavor than smoking a newspaper and you'll trow it out after the first inch, then regret smoking it, cuz you could saved it.
Just my 2 cents
