Soooooooo much room for Epicness, and yet so much room for failure. As long as this isn't "Black Sabbath featuring Ozzy Osbourne" it could be great.

Sounds very interesting. I got a chance to see them a while back in Toronto and they put on an amazing show. Maybe they will tour again.

It's cool they are going to get back together. Hopefully Rick Ruben does not ruin it like he ruined Metallica.

Yeah what Mase said. I thought Rubin gave tallica the kick in the pants they deserved. Death Magnetic is an almost perfect album.

Re: For My Metal Brethren
It's not so much perfect as it's most definitely NOT ReLoad, or that abortion of an album, St. Anger. Maybe that stretch of crappy music is because Lars didn't want good music getting stolen via Napster...

Re: For My Metal Brethren
Loves me some Sabbath! Paranoid was the first album I bought at age 12.
Can't wait to see em on tour!

Re: For My Metal Brethren
I thought Death Magnetic was a solid CD. Not as good as their early stuff, but better than St. Anger. That new collab that did with Lou Reed... boy does that suck!

Yeah, I don't blame him for bailing either, so I will skip the reunion tour, but still buy the album.
