Have not found anything of Padron I really dont like. Prefer maduros over natural generally but smoke what you like. I would go for it.

Any thoughts? Yeah, would love to have you buy me a box and send them to me.

OK, just kidding. But it is a great smoke.

Dunno. Do YOU like them?
No point buying a box of anything
unless you first know they work for you.

I Like Padron and the 2000 natural isn't any different for my taste. Between the natural and maduro I like the maduro better. However I like Maduro 9 out of 10 times anyway.

If you like them go for it. I used to smoke a lot of the 2000 Robusto's They came in boxes of 26 felt like I was getting something extra

I've never had a bad Padron.

If you're worried you won't care for it, most B&Ms carry Padrons. If you have one nearby, stop in and pick one up to try before buying a box.

Ditto

I'd go for the maduros, myself.

Like Fuente and a couple of the other "big players", Padron seems able to get the same tobacco from each year's crop. Hence whatever it tastes like now it tasted like when they were made five years previously, and will continue to do so in the future.

I don't know that I agree with this completely, but they are close from year to year in the sense that the blends don't really seem to change.

I love all of the Padrons, but like James said it might be a good thing to try one before investing in a box.

Padron has never let me down. I like the maduros better than the naturals, but that's a personal preference. Buy the box!

Do you recommend any local palate checkers?

Can't say I've had a bad Padron........but......

I know I'm in a scant minority, however, I also can't say that I ever had a Padron that I thought was better than a number of other cigars at the price point. They're just not for me.

Anyone topping a 5 month old thread about a box of cigars that someone wanted to buy right at that moment needs their eyes checked.

Seriously though. I hope he made a decision by now.

If he has not, we are reinforcing our recommendation to buy a box. They are a great stick, although I do prefer the maduros.

The big question of this revived thread is:

Did he purchase a box of Naturals or Maduros?

Padron's are awesome!!

The 2000's are great. Right size for me and length of smoke. As stated by a few above, I prefer the Maduros but I am sure the naturals will be of the same quality.

Buy a box or three.
