Found a ROCK in my cigar, Yes you read right.
Went to my local cigar shop the other day and picked up a couple for the 4th of July weekend.
My guy told me had a buy one get one free deal on a cheaper brand of infused cigar and that most people liked them. I picked up two. It is a Earth Supernatural by Cojimar. Sitting on my porch just now enjoying the nice evening and smoking one of them and suddenly my ash falls on my stomach and burns a hole through my shirt and something heavy, hard and hot is in my lap. It's a black piece of hard rock, almost like lava rock! I am astonished and still cannot believe it. Needless to say I will not be buying anymore of these. Here are some pictures for proof. |

Ditto to that one. I've never seen anything like that in any cigar that I've smoked over the years.

That is crazy!! Kind of funny it was in an "Earth" cigar though.

Re: Found a ROCK in my cigar, Yes you read right.
1) You should change your handle to "Charlie Brown". Never before have I heard a more appropriate and fitting reason for someone to do that on cigar board.
2) It happens. I'll admit that I've never heard of a rock in a cigar before, but twine or nylon tie line and bits of the plastic bags the rollers store the leaves in while working are not unheard of. I've also heard of pieces of aluminum foil, cloth (probably from the cloth the rollers/bunchers use to wipe stuff down) even a band-aid. The speed at which these cigars are rolled, stuff can fall in and if the bunchero doesn't see it right at that moment, chances are tobacco will be folded over the top of it within seconds. A rock, yeah, kind of odd for something that large and rigid to not get noticed. Kind of surprised that you were able to get a good draw with that pluging it up though. |

Much like Adam, I've found some crazy stuff in cigars, especially in "Cohibos"....fugazi Cohibas from tourist purchases gone wild. Some of it might even harm one if smoked, so I stay away from smoking obvious fakes in "punishment passes" and the like....too much risk for inhaling something unsmokable.

I have actually heard this before over on Stogie Review there is a video of a reviewer who found what he thought was a rock in his Cigar it turned out it was like a petrified tobacco leaf... not sure what the cigar was but I know it wasn't infused.. who knows maybe its the same thing.

No schist. Granite, I've never had that happen before, either.
