New to pipes
Hi guys, i started smoking cigars last august and havent looked back since. I love them and have a decent collection starting. I have been facinated by pipes since watching my grandad smoke one when i was young. For me its not just the smoking, but the care and attention required when smoking one, the care required to look after your pipes and the hunting down of old and interesting pipes and accesories.
I found a lightly smoked Savinelli sienna 320 on ebay. Following instructions from various sites, i cleaned it and have started to break it in. I have Peterson gold blend tobacco so far, but look forward to trying other blends and brands. Just wanted to say hello, and i look forward to spending time learning here. Lee |

Re: New to pipes
I jumped in about 4 months ago. I am now actually starting to be able to
keep a bowl burning with only a light or two over a half hour. Thought that was never going to happen, lol. |

Re: New to pipes
Pipes are great, I love being able to control how long I want to smoke for. Plus everyone loves the smell of pipes because it remind them of their grandpa. It took me a while to get through a whole bowl without relighting (hell it still happens) but practice makes perfect. Welcome.
