Nice story, and thanks for sharing. It's no big shock to me, not only because there are more important things to life than a baseball game but also because Yankees fans never considered Red Soxers to be inhuman.

As for the converse, that's another matter.

Some things transcend the rivalry. George Steinbrenner routinely wrote a large check every year to the Jimmy Fund, the official charity of the Boston Red Sox that helps kids with canser.
