Re: Bladerunner 2049
My feelings on this couldn't be more mixed.
Blade Runner is my favorite movie but, on the face of it, I don't have any particular interest in the idea of a sequel. Meanwhile, the people involved in this production (Fancher, Villeneuve, Deakins, Scott) appear to be about the best/most potentially-interesting one could hope for. So... I guess I'm looking forward to it with sheer trepidation.

Re: Bladerunner 2049
Have to agree, for me Rutger Hauer was the movie, sure there were the side plots, but his character was what kept me interested throughout.

Re: Bladerunner 2049
I'm down.
I'm not expecting Blade Runner at all, so I probably won't be the least bit disappointed. The dearth of sci-fi goodness is what bums me out. If it stands on it's own merit as a 5/10, I'll consider it a big win for all of us. I enjoy Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling, so there's that, if nothing else. I can't think of a movie that either has been in that let me down in any significant way.
