New lighter - Bugatti B1
I was clicking around the during a joecigar jam and all of the sudden this popped up for $25 (free shipping)! Didnt seem to last very long either.
This is my first "nice" lighter and I cant believe the quality and heft of this thing... I can see why msrp is $100+, although I cant ever see myself paying that much for a lighter. I filled it up and the lighting action is SOOOOO smooth, and I love the coolness factor of the flip back cover... it has built-in punches (2 sizes)... I've never used a punch so I'm curious to try it. Do you poke it in, turn it some and kind of peel it out or does the plug just come right out? Anyway, I'm excited Not sure how big the tank is, but compared to the ronson (pictured), I'd say it will last quite a while. |

That is a nice light and a nice price, saw it on the Jam and was oh-so-tempting but I am trying to display some level of Jam Restraint for the New Year. Hope you enjoy it for many cigar years.

Nice lookin' lighter
As for the punch cut, just punch it on in and then pull it out. I sometimes wiggle it a little or give a slight twist as I'm removing the punch so that the small cut disk is sure to come right out. |

I picked up that lighter as part of CI's Christmas Workshop deal. It's due to arrive on Monday, and I'm getting excited to try it out!

I've had it for 4 months now, it's okay. Right when you get it everything seems awesome. I will say this it scratches VERY easily. I honestly expect mine to crap out in a few months. It looks really "quality" but when CI is offering it in $40 bundles of cigars for FREE....you know it's more like a $20 lighter. I would watch what butane you put in it, go with vector. I'm much more happy with my Xikars.

Re: New lighter - Bugatti B1
I have one of these, loved it for a while but realized I needed a fuel window. I always had to carry a can of butane with me because it was always needing refilled.

Re: New lighter - Bugatti B1
I got one of these in the same christmas workshop deal. No problems to report so far. Still MSRP seems completely arbitrary in the cigar world. I wouldn't trade by brunton for it but it is heavy.
