Kristoff Ligero Maduro Robusto Review
Retail $9.
(5.5" x 54) Resting in humidor for 3 weeks after purchase. Prelight: sweet cedar, espresso 1st 1/3 Smooth smoke, touch of spice, espresso bean, dark chocolate, hint of berry's and a sweet cocoa finish. Nice start, draw, burn, wondering when the ligero strength will hit me but this is an enjoyable stick. 2nd 1/3 Felling the love, vitamin N, getting a little green A slow burning for sure.... medium/full bodied, toasty smoke, creamy earthy flavors. Pleasantly sweet and spicy finish with rich coffee and berry's still there. Complex and I am loving that finish minus the big buzz I'm getting. Final 1/3 Earthy nutty flavors with the sweet and spicy notes keeping up. Buttery cream and thick too. (no pepper!) Kristoff comes through, construction, top notch and flavors where complex. The Kristoff Ligero Maduro was a slow smoking stick, a great overall smoking experience. It just was a bit strong, so those looking for less nicotine, this may not be for you. (or me) The price tag seems right to me, well worth the price and was very tasty, I recommend it! Smoke time 1.5 hours Score 9 out of 10
