Default The top 25 of 2008 (According to the latest CA)

I've smoked 8 of the stogies on their list and will attempt to try the rest of the Cu smokes on their list when I head there in Feb.

Who agrees / disagrees with this year's picks?

Nice to see the Rocky Decade make the grade (although I heard the one they rated was slightly diff. from the ones they sell?) I love that cigar.

I find they always seem to rate the RyJ SHort Churchill quite high and I have always found it a hit & miss smoke. (I would have put the Partagas Serie D #4there instead all day long)

I have yet to smoke my first Padron but plan on doing that this year. They sure seem to get a lot of praise.

Good stories about Cuba & the US in this issue... a great read.

I smoked their #1 pick (Casa Magna Colorado Robusto). I thought it was damn good. I wouldn't say #1, but it was definitely good. Here is my review: http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=8614

Where is the best place to pick up the Casa Magnas on the cheap? I noticed they were made elsewhere last year and only this year by Plascencia.

Personally, and this is just my opinion. I think CA is a joke, I think their list is a joke, and that's about it.

I think CA should start a conspiracy group.....

Rumor came from where?

Have you smoked this stick and gave it a fair chance? Their rating is based on their tastes and averaged out. Which means it could be very different than your own.

I've had many, many El Rey del Mundo Flor de Lianeza Naturals and maduros. Perfect smokes, every time. I can't say enough good about them.

I always take this list with a grain of salt. At the very least, it gets me to try some new cigars.
