Question How Many Pipes...

do you all own?

how many do you not smoke?

I've got around 30+/- (counting 3 or 4 cobs).

there are about 5-8 that i don't smoke often or ever. some are bad smokers, or bulky, or ugly, or dedicated to types of blends i don't prefer anymore, or combinations of the previously stated issues...

the first couple I reach for are the bigger cob, my sav Roma, and my tsuge. Although I see myself reaching for my new Johs more often now

I have 12. 2 cobs and 10 briar. One of my pipes is in need of some work and is not in smoking order. I have a Randy Wiley which is really nice but doesn't get smoked much because it is massive and I haven't found a baccy that it burns well. Other than that they all get their share of smoking.

8 pipes for me, 4 briars, 4 cobs.
Right now only two pipes have been used. My VA pipe and my bust'em up cob. I smoke the VA mixed blends in this.

I just counted mine up. I think I have 26, but I have a pipe rack at work that has some sitting there, so it could be more. If I count the 4 recent ebay wins, it would be 30, but didn't plan on keeping those.

26 and counting! I am obviously afflicted with PAD. 2 meers, 2 cobs the rest briars. I always tend to have atleast 5 in my ebay watch list! I have 2 briars that I am not smoking due to their condition. 1 cob is brand new and unsmoked still as well as 2 of the briars. The rest all get used regular. I wouldn't call it a "rotation" though, more like a "random"!

I have 1 meerschaum and 9 briars. All get smoked except for 1 briar, which I'm really pissed off at. It was a "budget" Mastro de Paja. No matter what I load in there, or how I load it, within the first few puffs, it clogs with tobacco, and it's like sucking milkshake through a straw. Have not found a solution yet, aside from total destruction.

Aside from that, I smoke all the others regularly.

I have just 4 so far, one cob and 3 briars. Once I get the hang of filling it properly, I'm sure that the collection will grow.
