opinions on mild and creamy smokes wanted
I'm looking for suggestions for mild-medium sticks that are interesting and flavorful. Other than any Island that Shall Not be Named stuff (!) This doesn't mean boring or sour. I've enjoyed the Graycliff Chateau Grand Cru for example, because it tasted different.

I was being slightly ironic about the C-word, since forums and sites get so uptight about it. I, for one, think the whole thing is ridiculous and would love to have a choice of what I smoke. I have tried some Cubans, but they were in other countries or from.. other sources. Seems like things have changed over the years with the interwebs and all. Honestly, I liked a lot of what I had, but couldn't really experience the same range as a non-US resident would. The Cohibas have all changed since I tried them and the difference between an C and NC Hoyo or RnJ was staggering. But that was years ago...

Yes, I realize they weren't even aiming at the same profile, the RnJ NC being more of an EMS style. But we digress...

AVO Signature!! A little pricey but worth the coin, I hate mild cigars but these are the exception, GREAT elegant flavors!!! One of the few NC's I still enjoy!

5 Vegas Gold, Camacho Connecticut. A few good stronger sticks are the Casa Magna, 5 Vegas Classic, and 5 Vegas Cask.

5 Vegas Gold and Montecristo White are my two favorites on the odd occasion that I want a mild smoke. If you want to spend the money then Davidoff's are supposed to be good as well.

Re: opinions on mild and creamy smokes wanted
Have tried some 5 Vegas stuff. Not super impressed. Did try the Champagne... but the fog set in and I can't remember what I thought. The Casa Magna colorado was nice, not what I'm looking for in this vein. I have an Oval in the box, yet to try... I thought it was a little heavier than this category... Also have a Cusano 18 in the box. Haven't had any Avos for years.. Signature huh... Had an Ashton recently, which was fine and.. gentlemanly. Years ago, I smoked Paul Gamirians.. which seemed nice at the time, although difficult to find. Never tried any Curivari at all. Interesting.. As to Alec B.. I got burned on some Prensado's and have been reluctant to try much else in the line.
FYI, I love full-bodies cigars, too, just trying to vary up the collection and experience. Variety is the spice of life, right?
