Electric Shavers
Many of us are into the vintage shaving here. I am as well. I have a Merkur safety razor and badger brush and whatnot but it takes so damned long to shave. I just grow a beard and clean it up on Saturdays. Well my barber gave me an electric shaver for Christmas. It's a Wahl 5 Star and it works great. It's designed for African-American men but I'm no brother. My beard is worse. This thing is great and two minutes in the morning to clean up around my beard.

Re: Electric Shavers
Cool beans Wahl makes a good trimmer. I use one for when I keep a thin beard.

Re: Electric Shavers
I've tried many electric shavers, and hated them, they always made me feel like they were pulling at my skin too much. Now i started shaving IN the shower and using the gilette power fusion, and love it. I also use a mug soap and brush

Re: Electric Shavers
I think Wahl makes a very decent product for hair/beard.
For skin close electric shaving, I still go with Braun electric shavers. But for the last 3-4 years, I too shave in the shower with a Fusion, I'm not sure why I need 5 blades, because 3 really was enough. |
