Headed to Bagram
Looks like it's my time to head over to Bagram to support our systems in theater. The deployment will be for a year with a few week break in between. Looking for any advice or lessons learned from those who have been. Most important is the internet access to Skype with my family as well as places to enjoy my daily smokes
Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Godspeed, Jason....thank you for your service, My Brother.
Let one of the Troop Supporter coordinators know your address over there when you arrive (shilala-Scott or hotreds-Hugh), and we will get some cigars over to you and your comrades.

Re: Headed to Bagram
Thanks for the replies and the PM from Cory. Lots of good info. If anyone has any more suggestions on what to bring let me know.
Also, save those troop cigars for the guys who actually go on patrol and really risk there lives. I plan on bringing hundreds of smokes if I can get them in without problems. :-) |

Re: Headed to Bagram
I am here on Bagram now. I have been here now for right at 4 months. This is my second time here. Internet here is fairly expensive (90 bucks a month)but is good enough that I do skype with my family a couple times a week. Any other questions fell free to shoot me a PM.

Re: Headed to Bagram
I heard Bagram has a very big cigar club. Couldn't tell you where they meet but from all the stories I hear its a really good time. Hope you find them because my KAF smoking crew kept me going through my deployment.
