Warm place to smoke
There was a discussion awhile back about those of us who can't smoke in the house and winter. Well my son and I have been a little busy lately. We made some modifications to the garage.
first some jucie. Then the heater. 17,000 BTU/ 350CFM on air flow. Light em up. |

Re: Warm place to smoke
Nice Mike! During the winter months I'm resorted to smoking in the mobile lounge, aka my Jeep. It sucks but I make do. I need a man cave badly.

Re: Warm place to smoke
I've been kicking the idea of insulating my shed (already has power) and adding a heater and ventilation system. However in the winter it stores all the deck furniture not to mention mower, trimmer, etc. This thread has me thinking about just doing it and figuring the rest out later. I am envious of you Mike!

... And thats what my smoking shelter is. My buddies make fun of my tarp tent, aka "The Bum Hut". But it covers my chair and side table with my lighters and stinky. I have a small heater to knock the chill off the night. The tarp just basically blocks the wind. Its ugly, but effecient.

Re: Warm place to smoke
For the winter months, I just put socks on and go outside. The socks protect me from the 60 degree weather. Short/Shirt optional. Typical smoking attire: Boxers & Socks.

Re: Warm place to smoke
The wife put the kibosh on turning the basement into a smoking area so i bought a nice patio heater for the garage. Fantastic purchase for $90 on sale. I dont even have to close the garage just kick back under this bad boy and smoke away.

Re: Warm place to smoke
Been hitting low 30's here at night. I set up a tabletop
propane heater on the back deck for the wussy boys, while I sit out without a coat & barefoot. About 8:00 or so, I give in & invite them to finish our smokes in the living room. Queen B!tch doesn't mind, so long as we use the bathroom down the hall. Picky, picky....
