When I was getting all crazy a few years ago buying grinders and machines, my wife looked at me funny but supported my hobby.
When the roaster came, she asked if a coffee plantation was next. Passing by the plant section at Whole Foods, I noticed small coffee plants. ![]() I'm under them impression that Florida's low lying tropical climate would prohibit this, but must admit I am intrigued by the possiblity of really seeing the brew from plant to cup. Anyone have first hand experience?

Never did the growing, but saw kits to grow your own coffee....looked to me like it was an indoor plant thing....well definitely in Minnesota. I was going to buy the kit, but it said it would take several years to produce actual beans and I'm just not that patient. Good luck!
